We run a series of checks on 100% of your Proforma DAs and Final DAs.

The smart screening is achieved using a combination of technology and people expertise, including:

  • DAVE – our proprietary DA Validation Engine – checks over 1,800 rules, including any applicable discounts and rebates
  • A further automated rule-based tool which checks for potential errors using predefined scenarios
  • Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology to validate and screen all invoices
  • Smart logic which checks for unusual costs, invoice duplication, and historical cost variations
  • We allocate all Charterer’s expenses such as shifting and as per Worldscale rules for ease of rebilling, with a separate follow-up process to avoid any Timebar issues.
